At PhotoVolta, we are aware of our responsibility towards the climate and our descendants. However, we also attach particular importance to the compatibility of our projects with the local population. We therefore always endeavour to make our plants as invisible and as compatible with the environment as possible by selecting locations and implementing greening measures. At the same time, we are working intensively on how we can best keep the added value of the solar parks locally so that everyone involved benefits.

Comprehensive energy supply

The light emitted by the sun ("photo" in Greek) provides us with an almost infinite source of energy, but it has one major disadvantage: it is simply not available at night. Only in combination with the invention of the Italian physicist Alessandro Volta, the battery, can we utilise this energy at night.
Photovoltaics
Photovoltaics is the cheapest, simplest and most predictable way of generating renewable energy. Together with wind power, it is the mainstay of the energy transition. In addition to the urgently needed move away from fossil fuels, a solar park as an "ecological business" offers numerous other advantages for all those involved in the project. Voltas invention -
the battery
Alessandro Volta was an Italian physicist and visionary. In 1800, he presented a groundbreaking invention in London - the Voltaic column, known today as the electric battery. Thanks to centuries of further development of this idea, we now have the perfect storage system for solar power: efficient, inexpensive, can be used anywhere and is scalable to almost any size. The previous disadvantages have been eliminated with the latest generations. For example, LFP batteries consist of two of the most abundant elements on earth: lithium and iron. Without any nickel or cobalt, these power storage units have a service life of up to 10,000 cycles or 30 years - without any risk of fire or explosion.
Photovoltaics and storage in combination
At a time when renewable energies are playing an increasingly important role, the efficiency of photovoltaic systems is of crucial importance. As solar cells only produce electricity when the sun is shining, storing this energy for later use is of great importance. It makes it possible to utilise the solar power generated when it is needed - even when the sun is not shining.
Advances in photovoltaics, combined with modern storage systems, are bringing us closer to a future in which clean and renewable energy plays an even more central role.

Our aim is to construct ground-mounted photovoltaic systems in combination with storage systems in order to ensure decentralised energy generation day and night. Through extensive preliminary planning, we only promote environmentally friendly projects at locations that are optimised for people and the environment.
